East Riding of Yorkshire Programme of events for the 2009 festival. Friday the 28th of August. 8pm - Official opening at the Blue Bell, Riverhead by Gibby MacNaught and Schiltrum conducting an Open Session. 8pm - Open Session at The Tiger Inn, Market Place with Nick Rooke and Paul Blackburn. 8pm - Open Session at the Bell Hotel, Market Place with Pete, Janey and Stewart. Saturday the 29th of August. 11am - The Alley Cats at the Market Place. 11am - Gibby the Piper outside the Tiger Inn 12 noon - 3pm - Stewart Hardy and Frank McLaughlan at the Blue Bell Riverhead. (Food Available) 1pm - Open Stage at the Tiger Inn with Gibby MacNaught and Schiltrum. (Food Available) 2:30pm - Macara Morris Dancers in the Market Square. 3:30pm- At the Blue Bell, Riverhead,Childrens Talent Competition for the Mima Mackinnon Wright Shield. Please note that Registration takes place at 3pm. and children must be accompanied by an adult. 4pm - Open Session at the Star, Exchange Street, with Gordon Shannon and Steve Dodds. 8pm - Open Session at the Bell Hotel with Gibby MacNaught and Schiltrum. 8pm - Open Stage at the Tiger Inn, Market Place with Stewart Hardy & Frank MacLaughlin. 8pm - Open Stage at the Blue Bell with Punch the Horse. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place of the Childrens Talent Competition to open with the permission of their parents. Sunday the 30th of August. 2pm - Wind down Session at the Tiger Inn, Market Place.
